Zong hits 7 Billion Monthly Recharge Milestone Through Alternate Channels

Zong proudly celebrates a significant milestone in its journey of digital innovation as the company achieves a remarkable 7 billion recharge from its Alternate Channels. This achievement is a testament to the continued dedication, strategic vision, and growth of Zong’s digital initiatives over the years.
Alternate Channels are secondary and tertiary recharge platforms, such as banking apps, FinTech apps, and websites, among others. Mr. Wasi Ansari, Director of Sales & Distribution, introduced this milestone to Team Zong at Zong HQ, where Zong's C level Leadership, Directors, and HOD were given an overview of the Alternate Channel transformation process, which began in 2017.
"Over the past seven years, the Alternate Channel has grown exponentially, now holding a 40% volume share in total recharge volume and delivering a YTD growth of 29.81% this year. The 7 billion volume achievement is a proud moment for the company, reflecting its strong commitment to innovation, partner engagement, and expansion in the digital landscape," Mr. Ansari said during his speech, highlighting Zong 4G's vision to become a leader in digital innovation.
